Old Students Association of the 1982 set, Ibadan Municipal Government, IMG, Primary School, Mokola, Ibadan, has distributed academic materials to current pupils of the school.
The event took place within the school premises, attracting teachers, students, and other stakeholders.
The association’s president, Mr. Babajide Abatan, highlighted that the gesture was aimed at giving back to their alma mater.
Mr. Abatan expressed the association’s commitment to supporting the educational development of young learners and fostering a culture of giving among alumni.
The headmistress of IMG Primary School, who requested anonymity, extended her gratitude to the alumni of the 1982 set for the generous gesture.
She also appealed to the state government and key stakeholders in the education sector to support the school, particularly in improving security and infrastructure.
Two pupils of the school in an interview also appreciated the alumni for the academic materials.
Highlight of the events include games and music by a disc jockey.
