The Towulade of Akinale in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye has joined his ancestors.
He was 79 years old. He was a foremost journalist who had stints with the old Daily Times of Nigeria.
He retired as the General Manager, Public Relations of the defunct Nigeria Airways, was first installed as the Baale of Akinale in 2004 by former Governor Gbenga Daniel and was among those elevated to an Oba by the same administration in 2006.
Newsmen gathered that the royal father was indisposed for some times and was taken to St. Thomas Hospital in London, where he died.
