National Youth Games: Wrestlers on Standby to Represent Ogun State

The Chairman of, the Ogun State Wrestling Association, Dr Abimbola Babalola has encouraged the wrestlers selected to represent the State at the National Youth Games in Delta State to be a good ambassador of the association and the State in Asaba.

Dr Babalola made the call in his farewell message to the wrestlers through the Association’s Media Officer, Olusegun Folarin in Abeokuta.

The chairman who reaffirmed the readiness of the association to support the wrestlers towards improving the welfare of the athletes also urged them to surpass their performances at the last edition of the games.

Dr  Babalola expressed satisfaction with the performance of the wrestlers during the trial held recently and assured them that the association would continue to support the wrestlers with the resources available to enable them to achieve success in the festival.

Four wrestlers consisting of two males and two female will represent Ogun State at the National Youth games slated for between the 9th and 19th of September in Asaba.
