Sabiganna Lauds Tinubu over Commencement of Okeho-Iganna Road Construction

Sabiganna of Igannaland, Oba Saliu Azeez, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, over the commencement of the Okeho – Iganna road construction which was recently approved by the Federal Government.

Oba Azeez who is also Permanent Chairman, Traditional Council, Iwajowa Local Government, made this known in a telephone interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent.

The Monarch also extends appreciation to the Lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the national Assembly, Senator AbdulFatai Buhari for his efforts at facilitating the fulfillment of the aged-long dream of the people of Igannaland on construction of the dilapidated road.

The road has been a long overdue project neglected by the previous administrations and this is why the people of Iganna home and in diaspora are elated that the present administration under the  Leadership His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu consider it germane to do what the people of the area need most at this point in time.” Oba Azeez noted.

According to Oba Azeez, apart from being the access that links the two major Local Governments in Oyo state, which are Kajola and Iwajowa, the road is also an ECOWAS pathway that connects Oyo State with the neighbouring Benin Republic.
