The Chairman, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, 3SC, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan has assured fans of their safety during home matches.
Honourable Olaniyan gave this assurance in an interview with Pensioners FM following safety concerns raised by some fans.
He noted that the club has liaised with security operatives to ensure peace during home matches at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Honourable Olaniyan also lauded the leadership of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL for its firm stance in ensuring discipline and imposing sanctions on clubs for security breaches during matches.
He also appealed for the continued support of fans while expressing the team’s readiness for the second stanza of the league.
