KADOF Seeks Partnership from Govt., Individuals

The Chairman, Board of Trustees, Kunle Adewunmi and Dare Ojo Foundation, KADOF, Mr. Kunle Adewunmi and the General Secretary, Apostle Dare Ojo, have called for partnership from government and individuals for the success of KADOF.

Mr Adewunmi and Apostle Ojo sought the partnership during the inauguration of KADOF permanent site, at Alakia, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to them, the aim of KADOF is to establish a food bank for the vulnerable and a training centre for mechanised farming for youths.

In a remark, the Chairman on the occasion, former Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Community Relations, Honourable Femi Josiah, called on government at all levels to establish a social welfare trust fund across the country, to assist the vulnerable in the society.

According to Honourable Josiah, the establishment of a social welfare trust fund would support the intention of non-governmental organisations such as KADOF.

On his part, Chairman, Egbeda Local Government, Alhaji Sikiru Sanda, who doubled as father of the day, reiterated the local government’s commitment towards helping KADOF achieve its objectives.

Some of the beneficiaries appreciated KADOF for its initiatives aimed at making life better for the vulnerable.

Highlights of the event included medical outreach, presentation of certificate to trainees and donations.
