Indigenes of Ibadan have been urged to avoid issues that could bring instability and war to the land.
The charged was given by Baba Oba of Awotan, Lasisi Balogun during the grand finale of 2026 Awotan Day Celebration, held a Awotan in Ido Local government area of Oyo State.
Baba Oba Balogun equally warned landlords who erected buildings around Ojubo Lagelu in Adeosun Village of future consequences.
Other speakers at the event to include Mogaji Moshood Akere, President General Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Barr.Ajeniyi Ajewole and Alawotan of Awotan Oba Dauda Omotoso
called for unity among indigenes and concerted efforts to put Ibadan on the World map.

They also called on the state government to consider Ojubo Lagelu a tourist centre for revenue generation.
Neighbouring communities such as Adeosun /Idi Orogbo ; Akere ;Bolorunduro ; Ayeni; Asiwaju ; and Jeje joined in the celebration.
Highlight of the celebration were cultural display, history of Awotan and donations.
