David Raya has clinched the Premier League Golden Glove for a third consecutive season after another decisive display for Arsenal.
The Spaniard has kept 18 clean sheets in 36 league appearances and cannot be caught with three matches remaining. His closest challenger, Gianluigi Donnarumma of Manchester City, sits on 14 shutouts.
Raya sealed the honour during a dramatic win over West Ham United at the London Stadium. He produced crucial saves before VAR ruled he had been fouled in stoppage time, disallowing a late equaliser.
One key intervention proved pivotal. Raya denied Matheus Fernandes moments before Arsenal broke forward to score through Leandro Trossard.
“When you talk about magic moments, this is certainly one of the most needed moments as well to pull off that save. He [Raya] was incredible,” said Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta.
Raya has now won the award in every season since joining Arsenal from Brentford in 2023. He recorded 16 clean sheets in his debut campaign and shared the prize the following year. Only Pepe Reina, Joe Hart and Ederson have previously completed a three-year streak.
He now sits one award away from matching the record of four, jointly held by Petr Cech and Hart.
Since making his Premier League debut in 2021, no goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets than Raya.
