Olubadan Advocates for Integration of Traditional, Modern Medicine

His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasidi Ladoja ( Arusa1) has advocated for the integration of Traditional Medicine with the Modern  Medicine for  the enhancement of virile health care delivery before the exit of the traditional medical practitioners

The statement was contained in the press release issued and signed shortly after the Courtesy Visit paid by the Executive Members of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria ( Oyo State Branch) at the Olubadan palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan on Wednesday

According to Oba Ladoja,the use of the traditional medicine is not only effective but accessible and affordable

” I believe in the efficacy of the traditional medicine ,it’s accessibility and affordability”, Olubadan further stressed

Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Oyo State branch,Pharm(Col ) Victor Segun Ajanaku (rtd) said they were at the palace to pay congratulatory visit to Oba Ladoja on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers and to show the appreciation of members on many achievements recorded within the short period by the monarch

According to the Chairman  , they were also at the palace to inform His Imperial Majesty of the pharmacist story building built in Ibadan which is the first of it’s kind in Nigeria, adding that Olubadan is being invited to commission the building on the 21st May,2026

Also, the pharmacists, requested for the permission of the Imperial Majesty to have a medical outreach at Olubadan Palace Oke-Aremo Ibadan on 25th September,2026 as their practice annually

Gracing the occasion were Otun Balogun of Ibadanland Oba (Dr) Kolawole Adegbola, Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin, Aare Alasa Olubadan of Ibadanland Chief Muibi Ademola, and other traditional title holders.
