The former Chairman, National Centre for Technology Management, NACETEM, Honourable Wale Olatunji has identified inadequate funding and brain drain as some of the challenges facing the agency.
Honourable Olatunji made this known while featuring on Pensioners’ FM political programme, “The Searchlight”.
According to Honourable Olatunji, who said NACETEM is an agency of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology vested with the mandate of training and developing middle-to-high level manpower in science, technology and innovation noted that the challenge of funding and brain drain have posed setbacks not only to the agency, but the entire country.
Honourable Olatunji, therefore, urged the government to invest more in technology and innovation, noting that this would drive infrastructural growth and enhance citizens’ lives.
