Old students of various schools and institutions have been encouraged to contribute to the growth of their alma mater by initiating and supporting developmental projects.

This call was made by the President of the Old Students Association of Abeokuta Grammar School, Ibadan Branch, Pastor Muyiwa Bamgbose, during the association’s 2024 end-of-year celebration held in Ibadan.

Pastor Bamgbose emphasized that such contributions would significantly enhance the value of the institutions and serve as inspiration for younger students.

Pastor Bamgbose further urged alumni who have not yet joined the association to take the opportunity to visit the proposed Ace University in Bodija, Ibadan. He encouraged them to connect with the growing alumni network and actively participate in its initiatives.

One of the old students, Comrade Banjo Kolesho, who is also the Assistant Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, noted that the event provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and friends from his school days.

Comrade Kolesho also appealed to the alumni community for continued support to maintain the high standards of the school and ensure its sustained excellence.
