Two Public Affairs Analysts, Mr John Njoku and Honourable Femi Adebisi, have advised management of higher institutions in Nigeria to put in place strong internal mechanisms to block financial leakages.
Mr Njoku and Honourable Adebisi, who are also media consultants made this known while speaking on Pensioners FM Weekend current affairs programme ‘Voice of Liberation’.

The guests on the programme were reacting to the recent removal of federal tertiary institutions from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, IPPIS system

According to Mr Njoku and Honourable Adebisi, mismanagement of funds by some management of tertiary institutions has been a major challenge, thereby forstalling effective learning and research processes.
The two Analysts however, urged authorities of higher institutions to come up with initiatives that would improve revenue without inflicting hardship on parents and students.
