He was not just a poet but an author, vocalist, instrumentalist, a linguist and wordsmith.
He combined native intelligence, religious teachings and worldview to dish out philosophical narrations in Yoruba poetry called Ewi in his books, tapes, vinyls or record plates and later CDs.
However after 83 years laced with service and teaching to humanity and his creator, the creative Yoruba poet Olarewaju Adepoju sometimes called “Lanrewaju Adepoju”, bade the world good bye on Sunday, December 10th, 2023.
