The board, management and staff of Pensioner’s 106.7 FM have felicitated the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the First Labour Radio Station in the Universe, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
This was contained in a congratulatory message by the Station’s General Manager, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.
Dr. Tiamiyu who described Comrade Abatan as a man of innovations and visions in the global act of labour unionism, wished him more years of fruitful service to humanity.
The General Manager prayed for more years on earth in good health and sound mind for him to achieve more for Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council, NUP Southwest, his family, friends and humanity at large.
Dr Tiamiyu also appreciated Comrade Abatan for ensuring the welfare of staff members of Pensioners’ FM and the continuous sustainability of the Radio station.
Some of the achievements of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP under Comrade Abatan as the Secretary of the union with the help of other executives include, NUP’S Africa’s Model House, at Onireke, Ibadan, the Radio station, Pensioners’ 106.7 FM, Sure Healthcare Hospital Limited and the welfare of pensioners in the state.
