An Author and Researcher, Honourable Femi Adebisi, has appealed to the federal government to build a Hall of Fame for Nigeria’s heroes, to serve as a motivation for the younger generation.
Honourable Adebisi made this known shortly after featuring on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs programme, “Voice of Liberation”.
According to Honourable Adebisi, the government has failed in according national heroes’ and heroines proper recognition during and after their lifetime.
“Nigeria is due for a credible and internationally reputable Hall of fame’-Honourable Adebisi stated.
Speaking on the demise of the designer of the Nigerian flag, Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, Honourable Adebisi, said he was a hero that would be missed, noting that the ideals of the Green and White flag should be upheld.
“we need to realised and understand the theme of the flag designed by late Pa Akinkunmi”
Honourable Adebisi added that Pa Akinkunmi had left indelible marks on the sands of Nigeria’s history.
