The Ede Descendants’ Union (EDU) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to one of its distinguished sons, Dr. Abudu Oladipupo, on his emergence as the Dean of the School of Information and Communication Science, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun state
In Statement jointly signed the group’s President,Professor Ademola Olaitan, National Secretary, Dr. Nureni Lawal and Public Relations Officer,Mrs. Teniola Oyebanji, the group described Dr. oladipupo elevation as a remarkable accomplishment beyond his personal achievement but also a proud moment for the entire Ede community.
The statement also added that Dr. Oladipupo’s emergency to the prestigious position is a testament to his unwavering dedication, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to the advancement of knowledge and institutional development.
EDU added that as an indigene of Ede,his success reflects the enduring legacy of hard work, discipline, and commitment to excellence that characterizes the spirit of Ede people.
The EDU acknowledges and celebrates the intellectual prowess, administrative acumen, and professional integrity that Dr. Oladipupo has consistently displayed in cause his career.
According to the union, the new role as Dean is a recognition of many of his qualities,saying EDU is confident that he will bring visionary leadership, innovation, and progress to the School of Information and Communication Science.
“This appointment is also a source of inspiration to the youth of Ede and a powerful reminder that excellence knows no bounds when it is backed by determination, competence, and a clear sense of purpose. Dr. Oladipupo has become a beacon of hope and a role model for upcoming generations within and beyond our community.” EDU emphasised.

The Union pledged its continued support and goodwill to Dr. Oladipupo as he takes on the responsibilities of his new office.
It prays that his tenure will be marked by transformational achievements, institutional growth, and greater academic excellence in line with the vision of Federal Polytechnic Ede.
