A former Director at the Ministry of Education, Oyo State, Evangelist Kunmi Adeniyi, has called for the reintroduction of Guidance and Counselling Unit in schools and other establishment.
Evangelist Adeniyi made the call while featuring on “Grey Hair,” a Pensioners’ FM programme, which profiles the past lives of the elderly.
According to Evangelist Adeniyi, the level of parental negligence is on the high side and children would need a Guidance Counsellor to talk to.
The Evangelist, who is also a Guidance Counsellor, recalled that in the past, the profession covers all aspects of discipline.
