A student of Junior Secondary School Three, Oyo State Comprehensive Model College, Soka, Ibadan, Miss Ileladewa Aladetan, has emerged as a one-day Chairperson of Oluyole local government, Idi Ayunre area of the State.
Miss Aladetan was sworn-in as the Chairperson after she won the maiden edition of Oluyole Inter Schools Competition.
In her acceptance speech, Miss Aladetan appreciated the authority of Oluyole local government for the rare opportunity despite her humble background.
Miss Aladetan during her one-day Chairperson of Oluyole local government, inspected the reconstructed Grade A Customary Court, Idi-Ayunre, and distributed notebooks to students in her school.
Chairman of the Council, Engineer Akeem Olatunji, said the initiative was to inspire students to be more dedicated to their studies.
Engr. Olatunji equally assured the people of the local government of more dividends of democracy.
Principal of Oyo State Comprehensive Model College, Soka, Mr. Akeem Oyekanmi and mother of the Chairperson, Mrs. Tolu Aladetan, commended the state government for its commitment to education.
Other students who formed the cabinet of the one-day Chairperson were Abdulrasak Onikede of Molete High School, Orita New-Garage, as Vice Chairman, Israel Aluko of Prospect High School, Abanla as Secretary to the local government and Tijani Teslim of Bare Community Grammar School as Leader of the House.
