A financial expert, Mr Muhammed Bello says the nation’s annual budgets have always recorded loopholes.
Mr Bello said this on Pensioners FM Current Affairs programme, “Trending” while speaking on the 2024 Appropriation Bill to be presented by President Bola Tinubu to the National Assembly tomorrow.
According to Mr Bello, previous budgets had lots of unnecessary spending and wastage, noting that the loopholes should be reviewed before a new budget is proposed.
Speaking further, Mr Bello also advised the government to review activities of all sectors for better productivity.
Mr Bello said this would attract foreign investors into the country.
