The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has proposed four hundred and thirty four point two billion naira for 2024 budget.
The budget proposal tagged “Economy Recovery” was presented today, to the State House of Assembly in Ibadan.
The budget is one hundred and twenty four billion higher than 2023 budget.
While breaking down the budget, Governor Makinde said Infrastructure will gulped 17. 11%, Health 9.44%, Agriculture 3.65% and 20.8% for Education.
Present at the event, was the National Deputy-Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, SSG, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, Chief Judge of the State, Iyabo Yerima, traditional rulers and religious leaders.
