The Chairman, Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo on his 100 days in office in the second term tenure.
Hon. Akeem Ige expressed heartfelt congratulations to Ido council boss, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo while welcoming him in his office at the state secretariat, Ibadan.
While acknowledging that all the thirty-three Local Governments Chairmen are partners in progress of the person board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige appreciated the usual support and cooperation the authority of the board receives from council Chairmen since he assumed office as the Chairman.
Hon. Ige then used the opportunity to briefly highlight some of the achievements recorded by the board since the inception of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde’s administration which include, payment of backlog of gratuity, monthly payment of pension on the 25th of every month, payment of ₦15,000 wage award, ₦10,000 Christmas bonus, free enrolment of pensioners in Oyo State health insurance scheme and many more.
The board chairman also charged Hon. Sheriff Adeojo to continue to complement Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde’s sustainable development agenda in Ido Local Government, noting that governance is a collaborative effort and wished him a peaceful and successful second term tenure in office.
