It was indeed a moment of joy, coupled with rain of gifts at Ologuneru, Ibadan as Pensioners FM Head of Editorial Unit, Miss Yetunde Oke and her hubby, Mr Ayodeji Akinola exchanged marital vows.
Pensioners FM reports that families of the couple, friends and colleagues were gorgeously dressed to the ceremony.
The two lovers, Mr Ayodeji Akinola and Miss Yetunde Oke, began their journey about five years ago in Abeokuta, Ogun State and decided to be one body with exchange of marital vows in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, thereby becoming Mr and Mrs Akinola.
According to Mr Akinola, he met his newly wedded wife in Abeokuta, Ogun State and her simplicity as well as humility made him to believe she is his missing ribs
On her part, Mrs Yetunde Akinola, said she was fascinated by the caring and understanding attitude of her God sent husband.
Some guests at the ceremony described the newly wedded couple as well trained personalities with integrity and high sense of humility.
According to Prince Tewogboye Olatunji and Mr Abimbola Oke, who are family members of the bride, both husband and wife need to base the running of their home on various elderly advice they received at the event.
The General Manager of Pensioners FM, Ibadan, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu and Head of Marketing of the station, Mrs Afolake Odeyemi while congratulating Mr and Mrs Akinola for the solemnisation of their marriage, called on them to adopt mutual love as pillar of their home.
Also, some members of staff of Pensioners FM, advised the newly wedded couple not to give room for external influence.
Present at the occasion were Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo state council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, who is also the MD/CEO of Pensioners FM, the station’s head of Operations, Mr Ibiwunmi Ishola, Head of English presentation, Mr Eedris Abiola and Head of Yoruba translation unit of the station, Mr Abdulmumin Ishola.
