The Media Transformative Group received with deep sadness the news of the fire incident at the premises of Fresh FM Ibadan. This unfortunate occurrence is not only a painful loss to Fresh FM but also a setback to the entire media industry in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
According to a statement signed by the Group’s Spokesperson, Stephen Adedigba, Fresh FM has, over the years, earned its place as a trusted source of information, a household brand, a vital platform for shaping socio-cultural and political conversations. The fire outbreak is, therefore, a blow to the noble work of public enlightenment and community service that the station represents.
On behalf of the Media Transformative Group, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Founder, Management, Staff, and esteemed listeners of Fresh FM. We stand with them in this trying moment and assure them of our support.
