For Muslims to purify their wealth towards gaining the favours of Allah, they must always give charity to the less privileged.
An Islamic Scholar, who is also the Chief Imam of Alagbayun Central Mosque, Iwo Road-Ojoo Express way Ibadan, Fadilatsheik Abdulrosheed Gbedemuke gave the charge in a Ramadan Lecture titled “The Behaviours of a True Believer” organised by Alabidun Muslim community, new Airport Alakia Ibadan .
Fadilatsheik Gbedemuke advised Muslims faithful to always live with the fact that everything they have is a trust from Allah and must be used for the benefits of fellow humans.
The Islamic scholar also underscores the fact that every human being will give account of their dealings with other humans on the day of judgment.
While welcoming guests and participants to the lecture, The Amir, Alabidun Muslim Community, Ibadan, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Yusuf –Ojasope, noted that the best among mankind are those that live in line with the teachings of the Holy Quran and deeds of prophets Muhammed known as Hadith.
Among the invited guests of honour who graced the occasion include a community leader, Alhaji Abiodun Adebiyi , Member of AMCI and General Manager, Pensioners’ FM Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu.
