Leader with Midas Touch – Amodu Eulogies Adeleke

The Caretaker Chairman of Ede North Local Government, Hon.Taiwo Amodu has described Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state as a pragmatic, workaholic and industrious leader worthy of emulation.

He stated this in a congratulatory message personally signed by himself on the occasion of Gov. Adeleke’s 64th birthday and installation as the Asiwaju of Ede Kingdom by the paramount ruler of the ancient town, Oba Munirudeen Lawal.

Hon. Amodu while commending Gov. Adeleke for his giant strides in bringing development to Osun state, said the scion of the late Senator Raji Adeleke’s dynasty just like that of his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, has brought a lot of dynamism into the governance of Osun State within 15 months of his reign, thereby making life more abundant for the people.

The Ede North Local Government boss also added that the birthday of the energetic governor which coincided with his installation ceremony symbolised a better signal for the development of the town in particular and Osun State in general.

Governor Ademola Adeleke succeeded his brother, the Late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, the first Executive Governor of Osun State who held the prestigious title of Asiwaju of Ede Kingdom until his death in 2017.

Hon. Amodu said himself, his cabinet members as well as the entire people of Ede North Local Government viewed the conferment as a motivational reward for the Adelekes’ political exploits, which has brought fame to Osun state, particularly Ede Kingdom in general.

The Ede North council boss while assuring the people that the man popularly referred to as ‘dancing but performing governor’ would not disappoint them and called for more prayers and supports in making Osun State better for all and sundry.

Hon. Amodu therefore, prayed Allah to continue providing the needed wisdom required and wherewithal to enable the new Asiwaju of Ede succeed in the new task of community development.

The Ede North Local Government Chairman also appreciated the Royal father, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, for deeming it fit to bestow the great honour on Governor Adeleke, describing it as historical and timely.
