The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has donated twenty-eight, 18 seater buses to tertiary institutions in the State.
Governor Makinde, presented the buses at Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Seyi Makinde, also assured students in the state access to 2024 Scholarships and Bursary to cushion effects of economic hardship on them.
The Governor further noted that the 2024 Scholarship and Bursary documents signed today, will be made available to students online, to ensure seamless and proper disbursement.
Earlier in his welcome address, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Matters, Mr Victor Olojede, described it as unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
Students’ Union leaders, who spoke, commended the magnanimity of Governor Makinde towards the state students and described his education policies as outstanding among his counterparts.
