The Media Transformative Group MTG has paid a courtesy visit to the office of the State Director of the National Orientation Agency, NOA Oyo State, Mrs Ajolayo Akande, in a bid to foster greater integration with government parastatals and agencies in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Chairman of the Media Transformative Group, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu, alongside the Publicity Director of the group, Mr Adedigba Stephen, made their intentions known during the meeting.
Dr Tiamiyu and Mr.Adedigba who are also General Manager of Pensioners and Omoluabi FM respectively mentioned the group’s plan to organise intensive training sessions for media practitioners, a proposal which sparked exchange of developmental ideas from members of NOA and members of MTG.
Reacting,NOA State Director Mrs Akande of the State Director’s office expressed their displeasure over what she described as the condescending attitude of some media personalities towards the organisation and her activities.

Contributing,some of the members also noted that there are numerous media organisations in Oyo State, making it impossible for the agency to interface with every station inview of it’s logistics challenges.
They, however, encouraged members of the MTG to continue pursuing their vision,to enhance professionalism in the broadcast media sector.
Both organisations also discussed ways and modes of working together with different media organization to ensure more efficient public enlightenment.
Dr. Tiamiyu also used the opportunity to appreciate the State Director for her involvement in the group’s inaugural event held last year, which formed part of activities marking the 65th independence anniversary of Nigeria.
On the entourage or group include the group’s Vice Chairman and General Manager Adamimogo FM,Leader Joshua Adegbite,JP, Secretary and General Manager I-fliers FM Leader prince Adejare Amuda, and Welfare Officer and Head of Station,Crest FM Leader Olaide Abioye.
