The President General of Yusuf Olatunji Fans club, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Akinpelu says the late Yusuf Olatunji who was a Sakara drum player and musician has no rival in the music industry during his lifetime.
Alhaji Akinpelu made this known in an interview shortly after featuring on Pensioners FM Yoruba Entertainment Programme, Bebe Irawo.
According to him, the late singer’s songs were filled with morals and issues trending in the 1990s.
Alhaji Akinpelu, noted that the late Yusuf Olatunji was a promoter of Yoruba Culture and all his songs were written and sung in the native language.
He also advised upcoming artistes in the music industry to endeavour to sing songs that would inculcate morals and also promote culture.
Alhaji Akinpelu added that young artistes should prioritise professionalism over money as only good work can get them recognised globally.
