Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council has advised Pensioners in the state to shun a purported statement by a faceless person to peruse the lists of 251 pensioners’ who have gratituties to receive.
Secretary of the Council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan gave the advice in a statement made available to newsmen.
According to Comrade Abatan, the move was a clear case of fraudsters trying to defraud pensioners in the state, urging them to shun such information.
The Oyo NUP Scribe noted that the state Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Chief Olusegun Olayiwola , said no such information emanated from the ministry.
Comrade Abatan therefore urged Pensioners to report such fraudulent activities to him through the following phone numbers, 0-8-0-5-6-1-3-1-8-0-0 and 0-8-0-6-0-7-4-3-4-0-4, and to law enforcement agencies for proper action.
