A Nollywood actor, Prince Sulaimon Odebunmi has urged upcoming actors to have good mentors in order to excel in the movie industry.
Prince Odebunmi made this known in an interview shortly after featuring on Pensioners’ FM Yoruba Entertainment Program, “Bebe Irawo”.
According to Prince Odebunmi, a mentor would guide and teach on all that concerns the acting profession.
“A mentor would guide and educate you on what the profession entails. He or she would also instruct you on where to begin as an amateur. In addition, you will be put through on the tricks of acting before a camera with other actors”.
Prince Odebunmi also noted that at the peak of an artiste’s career he or she would be able to look back and point out the mentor or mentors that contributed to the success.
Prince Odebunmi further emphasised the importance of being a member of associations like TAMPAN, stating that the advantages were numerous and will also propel an artiste to great heights in the industry.
