The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun has endorsed the maiden “Ijo Oba” Olubadan Cultural Heritage” billed to debut on December 26, 2023.
Oba Balogun described it as another step to further unify the sons and daughters of Ibadan at home and in the Diaspora.
Olubadan who added that the festival would further promote the City’s cultural heritage and traditions, made the declaration in his Alarere Palace, Ibadan where he received the organiser of the event led by Mr. Musbau Oladipo.
While embracing the initiative which is aimed at showcasing the prowess of Ibadan land just as ‘Ojude Oba’ in Ijebu is famous for, Oba Balogun urged everyone, particularly Ibadan indigenes and non-native residents to support and ensure the success of the event.
