Oyo State has emerged the best in the administration of Human Papillamo Virus, HPV Vaccine.
The Social Behavioural Change Specialist for United Nations Children Fund, UNICEF, Mrs Aderonke Akinwole made this known at this year’s edition of Oyo State Social Mobilization Technical Committee meeting held in Ibadan.
Mrs Akinwole, commended the mutual collaborative efforts of the various stakeholders who made themselves and their platforms available for the achievement of the great feat.
On his part, UNICEF Consultant in Oyo state, Mr Samuel Olatunji enjoined the entire organisations partnering the world body on its efforts concerning women, children and environmental issues, to heighten their efforts in order to achieve a better and safe society for all.
Earlier in an opening remark, the UNICEF Mobilization Officer for Oyo state Ministry of Information and Orientation, Mrs Adeola Adewole explained that the purpose of the meeting was to review the committee’s activities and successes in the last one year.

Various organisations, agencies and media partners also reeled out their activities, successes and challenges during the period under review, as well as discussions on way forward.
Among media executives at the event include Deputy Director Programmes, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan, Reverend Niyi Dahunsi, Pensioners FM’s General Manager, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu and Chairperson, National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Oyo state, Mrs Omolola Alamu.
