The Oyo State Police Command has begun enforcement of Third-Party Insurance Policy for vehicles in the state.
While monitoring the exercise, Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Sonubi Ayodele, said the enforcement was in line with the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun’s directive.
CP Ayodele said that the enforcement, which began last Saturday, aimed to enhance road safety and ensure that all vehicle owners comply with insurance regulations.

According to CP Ayodele, vehicle owners in the state were required to have valid Third-Party Insurance, saying those without any form of insurance were advised to obtain one immediately.

CP Ayodele said the failure to comply would result in strict enforcement, including fines, penalties, or both.
The commissioner advised all vehicle owners to obtain valid third-party insurance to avoid any inconveniences during enforcement.
