It was a day of joy as Pensioners FM’s Head of Marketing, Mrs Afolake Odeyemi celebrated her birthday in grand style at Nigeria Union of Pensioners Hall, Agbarigo, Onireke Ibadan.
It was indeed a memorable day as friends, families and colleagues gathered at NUP hall to celebrate the birthday of Pensioners fm head of marketing, Mrs Afolake Odeyemi.
Speaking at the event, MD/CEO, Pensioners FM, Comrade Olusegun Abatan while describing the celebrant as an asset to the station, highlighted her significance accomplishments and contributions to the growth of the station.
Comrade Abatan, who is also the Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo state council, equally enjoined Mrs Odeyemi to continue to be a source of inspiration to others.
Earlier, Pensioners FM General Manager, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu said the celebrant has showcased herself to be very humble and dedicated to work.
In their tributes, friends, colleagues and well wishers at the event shared Mrs Odeyemi’s immeasurable contributions to human development and her zeal to always generate revenue for the station.
The celebrant, Mrs Odeyemi also known as Iyalaje, while appreciating God for his mercies, promised to sustain godly relationship with people.
Present at the event were Chairman, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo state council, Chief Isiaka Abolade, Assistant Secretary, Oyo NUP, Comrade Banji Koleoso, Mr Biodun Ige, Pensioners FM’s Head of Operations, Mr Ibiwunmi Ishola, station Secretary, Mrs Cynthia Akere, Head of Editorial Unit, Yetunde Oke, and members of staff of Pensioners FM and Oyo NUP.
Highlights of the event included special prayers for the celebrant and cutting of the birthday cake.
