The Nigeria Labour Congress, Oyo State council has urged federal government and other stakeholders to look into the plight of Nigerians and find a lasting solution.
This comes following the recent hike in the pump price of petrol by Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL across the country.
Chairman, NLC, Oyo State council, Comrade Kayode Martins who made this known in a statement made available to Pensioners FM, urged the government to provide solutions to the hardship caused by the hike.
He said the national union accepted 70,000 naira as minimum wage in a bid that pump price of petrol will not be increased, even when the policy is yet to be implemented.
He called on Governor Seyi Makinde and other labour leaders in the state to address the situation that is making life unbearable for Nigerians.
