Police Officers Wives Association, POWA Day Care and Nursery School, Eleyele, Ibadan, has held its end of the session party.
The event was held at the school premises located inside the State Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.
Chairman on the occasion, Professor George Adegbolagun, who lamented the high rate of out of school children in the state, described education as the best legacy parents can give to their children.
Professor Adegbolagun, who is also the President of the Institute of Certified Christian Mediators and Administrators, ICCMA, commended the efforts of POWA Chairperson, Mrs Doyinsola Ayo-Sonubi in ensuring that Police children acquire quality education.
Earlier in her remark, Coordinator of POWA School, Mrs Funmilayo Yakubu thanked God for preserving the pupils and management of the school. Mrs Yakubu equally appealed to the federal and state governments to increase allocation for the education sector.
