American actor, Screenwriter, and Director, Sylvester Stallone was born 6th of July, 1946, in the kitchen Neighborhood of New York City’s Manhattan borough, United States.

Sylvester Stallone was born to Frank Stallone, a beautician and hairdresser and Jackie Stallone (née Labofish), an astrologer.

The Young Stallone attended the American college of Switzerland and the University of Miami, eventually obtaining a B.A. Degree…..

Initially, he struggled in small parts in films such as the soft-core The Party at Kitty and Stud’s (1970), the thriller Klute (1971) and the comedy Bananas (1971).

Stallone was a struggling actor in every definition.

At some point, he got so broke that he stole his wife’s jewelry and sold it.

Things got so bad that he even ended up homeless, as he slept at the New York bus station for 3 days. 

Also, unable to pay rent or afford food, His lowest point came when he tried to sell his dog at the liquor store to any stranger and sold it at $25 only.

Sly said he walked away crying.

Two weeks later, he saw a boxing match between Mohammed Ali and Chuck Wepner and that match gave him the inspiration to write the script for the famous movie, ROCKY

.

 He wrote the script for 20 hours and tried to sell it and got an offer for $125,000 for the script.

However, he wanted to star in the movie, as the main actor, but the studio said as they wanted a real star.

According to report, the studio said Stallone looked funny and talked funny and he left with his script.

After a while, the studio agreed, gave him $35,000 for the script and let him star in it.

Rocky won Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing at the prestigious Oscar Awards and Stallone was even nominated for BEST ACTOR.

And do You know the first thing he bought with the $35,000?

The dog he sold.


Further film and television roles followed, most of them in uninspiring productions except for the opportunity to play a megalomaniac, bloodthirsty race driver named “Machine Gun Joe Viterbo” in the Roger Corman-produced Death Race 2000 (1975).

Stallone has built an enviable and highly respected career in Hollywood, plus, he has considerably influenced modern popular culture through several of his iconic film characters.

The legendary Rocky and Rambo actor his married and bless with five children.
