The State Coordinator, Oyo State Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Special Marshals, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa, has called on road users to abide by traffic rules to reduce road accidents, especially during the yuletide season.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa said this while featuring on “Awa Ye”, a Pensioners’ FM Road Safety weekly programme, sponsored by Oyo State FRSC, Special Marshals.
According to Pastor Adegbotoluwa, 90 percent of accidents were caused by human factors such as over speeding, fatigue and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa, therefore, advised drivers and pedestrians to be cautious during this yuletide season, saying impatience among road users was common during the season.
Awa Ye’ which is a Road Safety weekly programme by Oyo State FRSC, Special Marshals, holds every Monday on Pensioners’ FM from 4 ‘o’clock in the evening.
