Agodi 1 Branch of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council, has elected new executives that will run the affairs of the branch for the next four years.
Assistance Secretary, Comrade Banji Kolesho, who conducted the election, announced Mr Waidi Abibu as the new chairman of the branch.
Comrade Kolesho also sought the support of members for the newly elected executives.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the swearing in, the new chairman, Mr Abibu commended the state NUP for conducting a credible election and promised to uphold the standards of the union.
Mr Abibu, therefore, solicited for continuous cooperation of members for a smooth administration.
Other members elected were, the Vice Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Adeoye, Secretary, Mr Isaac Olanipekun, Treasurer Mufuli Ayodele, two Ex officios, Mr Risikat Adegbayibi and Mrs folasade Adetola
