Road Accident Information and Rescue Organization in collaboration with Federal Road Safety Corps, has reiterated that hospitals across the country should not reject road accident victims.
Commandant General of the Organization, Bamgboye Okanlawon gave the charge during the 2nd National Rescue Summit on Road Safety, held in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.
Commandant Okanlawon urged hospitals to rather administer urgent and adequate treatments before further steps are taken concerning the victim.
On her part, the guest lecturer at the event, Mrs Chidimma Ukwuozor, who spoke on the theme: Effective Post-Crash Response Towards Global Goals 2030, appealed to Nigerians to always assist in rescuing accident victims, rather than concentrating on photos and videos for social media.
Highlight of the programme was the unveiling of a New Logo, Induction; and decoration of some distinguished Nigerians who have contributed to the course of the Organisation.
In attendance were members of National Orientation Agency, NOA , NSCDC Oyo state Command, Vigilante Groups, NEMA, Oyo State Fire Service and Pensioners FM’ Head of Operations, Ibiwunmi Ishola.
