A Public Affairs Analyst, Honourable Femi Adebisi, has called on Federal Government to protect health workers against gruesome attacks and Kidnapping, so as to prevent disruption in the delivery of healthcare services.
This call was made by Honourable Adebisi while reacting to the 7 days warning strike embarked on by Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD on Pensioners FM’s Weekly Current Affairs Programme “Trending”.

According to Honourable Adebisi, who is also a media consultant, the recent attacks and kidnapping of nurses and other health workers in the country is worrisome, discouraging and poses danger to the health sector.

Honourable Adebisi also advised health workers to be security conscious always and urged the doctors to return to work, while President Bola Tinubu reacts to their demand.
NARD had yesterday begun a seven-day warning strike over the abduction of their colleague, Dr Ganiyat Popoola, who has been in the kidnappers’ den for eight months.
