In recent years, mobile phones have become an inseparable part of our daily lives.
Whether browsing the internet, making calls, or sending messages, many people keep their phones with them constantly, even in the kitchen.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) also known as cooking gas is commonly used in households worldwide.
This convenient and efficient energy source allows for meal preparation, but it also comes with inherent risks.
LPG consists primarily of propane and butane and a minor leak in an enclosed space like such as kitchens can create a highly combustible environment.
In such conditions, a single spark can ignite the gas, leading to an explosion.
While mobile phones are not typically associated with causing fires, they can pose a hazard in specific situations.
Most mobile devices are powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are prone to overheating or short-circuiting under certain conditions.
When used in high-heat environments like kitchens, the risk of battery malfunction increases and a malfunctioning battery can release sparks.
Sadly, if there is a small gas leak, it can trigger an explosion.
Although the likelihood of a mobile phone igniting gas fumes is low, however, the possibility cannot be entirely dismissed.
