The Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan has listed out the retirees that would benefit in the implementation of the union’s 13-point demands recently approved by Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Comrade Abatan made this known in an interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent.
According to Comrade Abatan, retirees before 2010 would be beneficiaries of the 33% pension increment of 2010 while the consequential adjustments are meant for those who retired before 2019 downward.
The Oyo NUP Scribe further stated that the 20% pension increment would be for pensioners who had till April last year and the federal government’s 32,000 naira across board to retirees in September, last year.
Oyo NUP had submitted 13-point demands to the Oyo state government including the implementation of federal government 32,000 naira to retirees.
