UI-CEI Hosts Entrepreneurship Sensitisation Workshop

The University of Ibadan Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation has held a one-day entrepreneurship sensitisation workshop in Ibadan.

‎‎The workshop drew participants from various departments across the institution.

‎‎‎Delivering the keynote address on the theme, “Entrepreneurial Potential and Potential Entrepreneurs: The Making of an Entrepreneur,” Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ckrowd.com Mr. Kayode Adebayo, emphasised the importance of research and data-driven decision-making as an entrepreneur.

‎‎Mr. Adebayo also advised aspiring entrepreneur not to pursue entrepreneurship solely for financial gain.

‎‎Also speaking on the theme “How I Unlocked and Unleashed My Entrepreneurial Potential as a Student” Founder and CEO of Soupah Kitchen & Co, Ibadan, Ms. Ifeoluwa Olatayo emphasised on the importance of community building and networking in entrepreneurship.

‎                              

‎‎Earlier in her opening remarks, Director University of Ibadan Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Professor Sherifat Aboaba, explained that the initiative was aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.

‎‎                               

‎‎Professor Aboaba also encouraged participants to embrace time management as a critical component of entrepreneurial success.
