The National President, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP Comrade Godwin Abumisi has felicitated members of the National Executive Council, all State Executive Councils, Sectoral Units, Parastatals and the entire Nigerian Pensioners on yuletide celebration.
Comrade Abumisi made this known in a statement made available to Pensioners’ FM.
He prayed that the new year ushers everyone into prosperity, peace, unlimited favour and good health.
He also appreciated President Bola Tinubu for his goodwill and love shown to Nigerian Pensioners through recent approval for series of pension increases and prompt releases of homongous funds to Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD and National Pension Commission, PECNCOM for implementation.
The President, similarly commended the State Governors who gave priority attention to prompt and regular payment of gratuities and pensions of members in their respective states in the previous years.
He, however, urged a renewed hope for better life and robust living conditions for Nigerian Pensioners in the new year.
