Makinde Distributes Additional Operational Vehicles to Police, Amotekun, Others

Governor, Seyi Makinde, has presented another 100 units operational vehicles to security outfits in the state.

Presenting the vehicles at the open field of the Governor’s office secretariat, Ibadan, Governor Makinde, said the additional operational vehicles were to further fight insecurity in all the 33 local government areas of the state. 

He urged the security agencies to use the vehicles for the purpose it was purchased.

Responding on behalf of the security agencies, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat, said the vehicles and other gestures from the state government have enhanced security operations across the state.

Beneficiaries include Nigerian Police Force, Amotekun, Operation Burst, Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, OYRTMA, Nigeria Army, Correctional Centre, Nigeria Custom Service, Nigeria Immigration, and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Governor Makinde had last October, 2023 distributed 30 units operational vehicles to security outfits in the state.
