Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP Southwest Zone has commiserated with the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and the people of the state over the tragic explosion in the state on Tuesday.
The Public Relations Officer of NUP, Southwest Zone, Comrade Olusegun Abatan who doubles as the Executive Secretary of NUP, Oyo State Council said this while speaking to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
According to Comrade Abatan, the union sends its condolence to the family of those who lost their lives in the blast and wished the injured quick recovery.
Comrade Abatan further said the union also commiserates with the Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the people of the state on the transition to glory of the former Governor, late Rotimi Akeredolu.
The NUP Scribe said the union prayed that God will grant the political family and the immediate family of the late governor the fortitude to bear the loss.
