The reconstructed and newly inaugurated dualised 8.2 kilometer Agodi, Gate, Onipepeye Adegbayi Old –ife road, Ibadan has been targeted toward further socio-economic development of Ibadan and Oyo State in general.
Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State Governor, Mr Olanrewaju Sulaiman, made this known in a media interview during the inauguration of the road project.
Mr Sulaiman explained that aside from being an alternative link to the Ibadan-Ife Express Road through Adegbayi axis, the re-constructed old Ife-road will also boost the status of Ibadan Airport at Alakia.
Mr Sulaiman enjoined everyone to make maximum use of the dualised road and ensure that all facilities attached to it last long for the benefit of all.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Oyo State Governor on Media and Communication assured all the people of Oyo State that the governor would not renege on his promises to make the State a haven for small, medium and large state investors.
