FRSC Harps on Need for Fire Extinguishers

The Oyo state Coordinator, Special marshals, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa has emphasised on the importance of fire extinguishers for vehicle users.

Pastor Adegbotoluwa said this while featuring on “Awaye”, a Pensioners’ FM Road Safety weekly program, sponsored by Oyo State FRSC, Special Marshals, RS 11.3.

According to Pastor Adegbotoluwa, all vehicle owners should have a fire extinguisher in their cars as a measure to curb fire outbreaks on roads.

Pastor Adegbotoluwa also noted that careless driving was one of the major causes of fire outbreaks, urging drivers to be careful while driving.

He also added that, drivers who violate the FRSC fire extinguisher code will be fined 3,000 naira.
