Protest has rocked Ibadan, the Oyo State capital today, over high cost of living, food inflation and the current economic hardship in the country.
Pensioners FM Correspondent, who was present at the protest ground at Mokola and Sango, reports large turnout of protesters who were seen carrying various placards.

One of the convener of the protest, Comrade Solomon Emiola, in an interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent, said the protest was organised to vent their pains over the hardship in the country.
Comrade Emiola also used the opportunity to call on the federal government to return to the drawing board and come up with a lasting solution to the economic challenges bedevilling the country.

Some Protesters who also spoke expressed their displeasure over the high cost of living in the country.
Meanwhile, armed policemen were seen at the protest scenes.
The police had yesterday warned that no breach of peace would be allowed during any protest in the state.
The protest followed the ones in Kano state and Minna, Niger state.
